Abstract—Recently, the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) engineers ’workforce shortage has been occurred with the progress of ICT development. In the new educational guidelines of Japan, the learning contents about ICT have been extended. Along with this, effective teaching materials for learning programming are in demand. In this study, we constructed a programming learning environment which can control actual robots using Scratch, which was developed at MIT. Using questionnaire data, we analyzed the effect of the learning environment on the learning experience of students. And by the results, it was found that with this learning environment, it is possible to improve the learning effect of any students, regardless of their original interest in computer operation.
