The rapid development of space technology leads to the need for continuous improvement of the design process of spacecraft. New requirements for the developed space products lead to the need to apply new design methods, which are based on the knowledge and application of the mechanics of spacecraft motion in space. For such a design, it is necessary to apply new methods and algorithms for engineering calculation. It is necessary to apply new methods of engineering calculation of the mechanics of motion in space. One of the important parts of the movement of spacecraft is the descent into the atmosphere. Various mechanical devices are used to ensure the descent, the design and dynamics of which need to be considered separately.
Our special issue is devoted to this and many other issues related to this, based on the ICMSС (International Conference on Mechanical, System and Control Engineering), http://www.icmsc.org held on this and similar topics.
