Abstract—There are various computer-aided software available to simulate dc-dc power converters using discrete semiconductor devices. In this paper, a simple approach is proposed to simulate a fourth order dc-dc Zeta converter using MATLAB/Simulink. This approach avoids the use of discrete semiconductor devices, resulting in fast and efficient simulation model. The approach also takes non-idealities of Zeta converter into account. The results obtained are exactly same as with discrete semiconductor devices.
