Abstract—In the heat treatment of gears, vertical stacks are used to place the jobs into the furnace. Due to the use of vertical stacks the face run-out for the jobs exceeds the desired limit. In order to overcome this drawback of vertical stacks we are substituting them with newly designed Vstacks.
